TUSCANY TRASURE HUNTING
It is a road trip off the beaten track that, through a set of clues and riddles, will lead you and your team to discover the hidden gems of Tuscany!
The intent of the game is to create a new way of experiencing Tuscany and its treasures, its artistic beauties, its immense history. Moving away from the passive, induced fruition of information to embrace an experiential, sensorial first-hand discovery of this land. Allow yourselves to be guided by your curiosity to roam the less-beaten tracks and reveal a minor Tuscany that’s equally breath-taking. You’ll be charmed.
UNDERTAKING
Team game (max 6) in which each team made up of 2/3 people challenges the others in routes, games, discoveries, over three days (two nights).
EQUIPMENT:
At the start the teams will be given:
- a Fiat Cinquecento with a full tank
- a tablet equipped with connection and tools for the game
- the first "ENIGMA"
WHAT IF I CANT'T ANSWEAR THE QUESTIONS?
Fear not! There will be a private blog accessible only to participants where you can fish for information to aid you in resolving the questions and move you to the next leg of the journey.
SCORES
The treasure hunt begins with a question, which will take you to the first stop of your adventure. You will be tasked with demonstrating that you have reached it (ready to take a selfie with a passerby?) and only then your team will access the next question on your tablet. The answers recorded will generate points and a ranking of teams, which will be communicated every evening.
FINAL REBUS
In the last stage of the last day each team will access the final rebus. Its solution will give a higher score than the other questions, thus allowing for a overturn of the classification.
SOLO STOPS - SHARED STOPS
Each team will visit different locations from the other teams, making solo routes. Occasionally, some stops might be experienced with another team.
MUSEUM VISITS
The solution to one of your questions may be inside a museum… we are spoilt with places of knowledge in Tuscany. The entrance ticket will be taken care of and you won’t have to worry about a thing. Get searching!
DON'T RUSH
The delightful routes invite you to enjoy Tuscany in all its splendour. It is a journey for the eyes and the heart. However, please be mindful of speed limits and general road regulations (if in doubt ask, we are always available), any infractions of the code will be charged to the driver of the rented car as per standard procedure. Slow and steady wins the race!
ALL AT THE TABLE TOGETHER - TASTINGS WITH CHALLENGES
At the end of the day all the teams will meet to have dinner together, get to know each other and share their discoveries and experiences. We love seeing new friendships blooming, even during the challenges. Dinners, oil and wine tastings will feature local, typical Tuscan products of our tradition, of exceptional quality.
STAY IN MAGICAL PLACES
We selected spectacular accommodations. After all the effort of the day, nothing better than some luxurious, peaceful and well-deserved rest in a beautiful setting.
